Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs all purchases and subscriptions made through the BBC Better Business Credit platform operated by BBC Better Business Credit Inc.. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase.

Policy Summary

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day money-back guarantee on their first paid plan.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds for unused time.
  • Annual plan refunds are prorated for unused full months, minus a processing fee.

1. Subscription Plans & Billing

BBC Better Business Credit offers monthly and annual subscription plans (Builder and Pro). All plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

  • Monthly Plans: Billed every 30 days from your subscription start date.
  • Annual Plans: Billed once per year from your subscription start date. Annual plans are offered at a discounted rate compared to monthly billing.
  • Free Plan: The Starter plan is free and does not involve any billing. No refund applies.

All prices are listed in USD. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your jurisdiction.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We stand behind the value of BBC Better Business Credit. If you are a first-time subscriber to a paid plan (Builder or Pro) and are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial payment date.

To qualify for the money-back guarantee:

  • The request must be submitted within 7 days of the first charge on your account.
  • The guarantee applies to your first paid subscription only — it does not apply to renewals or plan upgrades.
  • You must not have submitted more than 5 vendor credit applications through the platform during the trial period.
  • The guarantee does not apply if your account was suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.

To request a refund under this guarantee, contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "Money-Back Request" and include your account email and reason for cancellation.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard under Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription.

  • Monthly Plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current monthly billing period. You will retain full access to your plan features until that date. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days in the billing period.
  • Annual Plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your annual billing period. You will retain access for the remainder of the year you have paid for. See Section 4 for early termination refund eligibility.

After cancellation, your account will revert to the free Starter plan. Your business profile data will be retained for 90 days, after which it may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Annual Plan Early Termination Refunds

If you cancel an annual plan before the end of your subscription year and do not qualify for the 7-day money-back guarantee, you may be eligible for a prorated refund under the following conditions:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of your annual renewal date.
  • The refund amount is calculated as: (number of unused full months remaining ÷ 12) × annual plan price, minus a $15 processing fee.
  • Partial months are not refunded — only complete unused months are counted.
  • Refunds are not available for annual plans that have been active for more than 10 months.

Example: If you cancel an annual Builder plan ($468/year) after 3 months, with 9 full months remaining, your refund would be: (9/12 × $468) − $15 = $336.00.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Monthly subscription renewals (after the 7-day guarantee window on the initial purchase).
  • Add-on services, one-time purchases, or premium report fees.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Subscriptions purchased through third-party resellers or promotional partners — refund requests for those must be directed to the reseller.
  • Any portion of a subscription used to submit vendor credit applications that resulted in approvals.

6. Plan Upgrades & Downgrades

Upgrades: When you upgrade from a lower-tier plan to a higher-tier plan mid-cycle, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period at the new plan rate. The upgrade takes effect immediately.

Downgrades: When you downgrade to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the difference in the current period.

7. Failed Payments & Account Suspension

If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over 7 days. During this period, your account will remain active. If payment is not collected after 3 attempts, your account will be downgraded to the free Starter plan and access to paid features will be suspended until payment is resolved.

You will not be charged retroactively for the period during which your account was suspended due to a failed payment. Reactivating your subscription starts a new billing cycle from the reactivation date.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer. BBC Better Business Credit is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.

Refunds will appear on your statement as "BBC BETTER BUSINESS CREDIT REFUND" or similar. If you do not see the refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank before reaching out to us.

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most billing concerns can be resolved quickly and amicably.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting BBC Better Business Credit may result in immediate suspension of your account pending investigation. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be permanently banned from the platform.

10. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, please contact our billing team:

Subject Line: "Refund Request – [Your Account Email]"

Please include in your message:

  • Your registered account email address
  • The plan you subscribed to and the charge date
  • Reason for your refund request
  • Any relevant transaction ID or receipt number

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.

11. Changes to This Policy

BBC Better Business Credit Inc. reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers via email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
